  Such a shame that this place services our National War Memorial (which itself is lovely). Do yourself a favour and eat before you visit.

  We were also dining in and specifically asked for our coffees in mugs. However, we received luke-warm, overly milky, weak coffees in takeaway cups?! When asked, they gave some poor excuse about the dishboy being late? Poor form to be honest. Also ,what a waste of resources.

  I would give it no stars if I could! I had an hour spare to get some lunch and didn’t recieve my food! I waited 55min before I had to be somewhere else. I went to see if I could get my money back, but I found two other customers arguing with staff about having to wait too long for their food, along with a line six people long waiting for their orders to be taken. I didn’t have time to wait so I left without my food and without my money! On leaving I noticed that not one table was clean of dishes and I overheard while I was waiting the staff saying they had to serve their coffees in takeaway cups because they were out of mugs! Umm it’s because they were all still on the tables and you haven’t cleaned them for hours! I saw the staff go out to drop food off at tables yet return to the kitchen empty handed! How hard is it to take the dirty dishes back after dropping off the food!? Take some initiative! This place is a disgrace to the wonderful monument the memorial is! The memorial would be perfect if it wasn’t for this cafe!

  We were a group of four and ordered together. The meals took over half an hour and all came out ten minutes apart. One of the meals did not even arrive. The coffee was warm and weak. The staff were rude and unapologetic. The only positive was the decor and view. At least I had a nice comfy couch to wait on for food that never came...

  Firstly, the girl taking our order didn't know how to use the computer system for their limited menu choices. That was...interesting.

  Nice decor. Food and coffee abismal! A mug of latte is a small glass in size and when querried we were told that a regular latte is slightly bigger than a shot glass! Plus the "mug" was half froth! The lamington was last week's fare - hard and dry. Would be embarrassed to take visitors there.

  Our meals all arrived at different times which meant that one of our party's meals didn't arrive until some of us had finished! Big no-no! Might have been understandable if the place was packed and they were short of staff but it was full of workers. So perplexing! The meals were nothing special and felt a little cold. I think they just warmed the plate before serving, really.

  Had to hit one star as there nothing lower. Lined up for twenty minutes to be called ahead to a vacant register. At the register the cashier tells me he doesn’t serve my table so back to original line as the rude woman wouldn’t let the male cashier line jump me. Absolute rubbish.

  APPALLING! What a wolf in sheep's clothing; the venue is new and comfortable but the service and quality of food and drinks leaves MUCH to be desired.

  The servers set down our plates quite roughly and without care. Honestly, you get the impression that the staff don't want to be here and are odious as a result.
